We ordered 2 salads and an order of toasted cannelonni at 3pm on Father's Day in person for a carry out, since they wouldn't answer the phone for us to put in our order before we got there. My husband paid for the order after the hostess who told us her name was Mikaela. I doubt that was her real name. She told us our order was $39.14. My husband asked her if there was a fee for credit card. She said yes. He said he'd pay cash. She then said it was 37.14. He gave her $40. She gave him the .86 change as we were talking with each other. I saw her take $2 wrap it in a 20 and place it in her pocket and walk away. My husband said that she didn't give him the $2. I asked him did he give her $2 in tip. He said no. He hadn't gotten the full change back to consider the tip. She tipped herself with his change. We couldn't believe it. My husband didn't want to make a scene for $2. I'm dire that's what she was counting on. That is stealing. Only $2, but it's still stealing. The food was good, but the staff are thieves and they don't answer the phone to take an order. Beware. Count your change. We frequent this restaurant, but not anymore. Mikaela was my server, and she had extensive knowledge of their gluten free menu items.
